C. John
Bullard, DVM
Dr.
Bullard was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. He first decided to go
into the veterinary field as a child, after the loss of a favorite pet. He
graduated from Tuskegee University in Alabama, where he earned his degree
in Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. His special interest within the
field is in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. He has been lead doctor at
Ann Road Animal Hospital since it first opened its doors in September
2005.
Outside of work, Dr. Bullard enjoys spending time with his wife, also a
veterinarian, and his two small sons. He also enjoys fishing, playing
guitar, and painting. Much of his artwork is of scenes in the Bahamas,
which he does from memory. Dr. Bullard shares his home with several
members of the animal kingdom, a
Pit Bull named Ace; a
Perro de Presa
Canario named Diamond; a
guinea pig named Dot, and numerous birds. |

Leslie Stewart, DVM
Dr. Stewart grew up in a military family and has lived various places
around the world, although her family has called Las Vegas home since
1991. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from University of
Nevada Las Vegas while working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician and
eventually graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado
State University. Dr. Stewart's area of interest are internal medicine and
practice management. Her animal family includes her very loyal friend,
Rascal, a 10 year old
Dachshund,
whom enjoys being the only animal child. He is somewhat sidelined by her
young son, Leland, but still lives a wonderful, full life.

Michael Lavigne, DVM
Dr.
Lavigne was born in San Francisco, California, but was raised in New
Orleans. Louisiana. He attended Xavier University in Louisiana to complete
his undergraduate studies in biology. It was during this time that he
became the owner of a puppy and, in the course of taking care of his dog,
decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. He then attended
Tuskegee University in Alabama where earned his degree in Veterinary
Medicine. His special interest within the field is in soft tissue surgery.
Away from work Dr. Lavigne enjoys the company of his wife and two small
children; a daughter and a son. He also enjoys golfing, fishing, hiking
and anything else that includes being outdoors. His family share their
lives with a
Schnauzer
mix dog named Woody.

Eric
O. Colón, DVM
Dr. Colón was born and raised in Guánica,
Puerto Rico. He attended The University of Puerto Rico where he earned a
Bachelor's degree in Biology and Animal Science. He continued to follow
his childhood dream of becoming a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine by
attending The Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in
Tuskegee, Alabama. His special interests within the field are in small
animal medicine, radiology and soft tissue surgery.
Apart from work Dr. Colón enjoys his time off by spending time with his
loved ones, skydiving and riding his motorcycle. He shares his home with
his Shih Tzu named Skylet and his DLH cat named Nikki.

Veterinarian's Oath
Being admitted to the profession of
veterinary medicine, I solemnly swear to use my
scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the
protection of animal health, the relief of animal suffering, the
conservation of livestock resources, the promotion of public health and
the advancement of medical knowledge. I will practice my profession
conscientiously, with dignity, and in keeping with the principles of
veterinary medical ethics. I accept as a lifelong obligation the
continual improvement of my professional knowledge and competence. Adopted
by the AVMA House of Delegates, July 1969
