Thread: My dogs aren't eating...

Hello,

I've always fed my two boys (St. Bernard: Paco & Border collie mix: Butters) twice a day. Typically in the morning and at night. They have always devoured their food as if I had not fed them in weeks! Lately, both of them just stare at their bowls & do not eat. I always feed them outside & leave them out until I get ready to go to school/work. By the time I was ready to leave the house, their plates would be empty & then I would bring them inside (after they had done their business outside as well).

I have not changed their food nor their pattern (time) of eating. Paco is just 2 years & 7 months & Butters is 7 1/2 years old. Not sure if this is normal behavior, or they got tired of their food, or if it's something more serious (although they both don't look/seem ill to me).

I would not be too worried. If they start vomiting or having diarrhea i would bring them in. Sometimes in the summer because of the heat dogs will go off of their food slightly. Please come see us if these signs continue or get worst.
