My dog needs surgery can you help?

Hello all, I am asking for some help from pet lovers out there. One of my cats passed away on Saturday and now my dog has Ruptured her ligament in her knee. The surgery to repair it is going to cost me a fortune. Of course I dont have all of it. I am asking if anyone can make a donation directly to Ann Road Animal Hospital for her surgery. There is an Acct set up in her Name Jozie Weeks, Owner Shannon Weeks. If I cant come up with the money my only other alternative is to put her to sleep. I dont want to do that after just losing my cat 2 days ago. Is there anyone who is willing to help her? I have been a client of Dr. Bullard's for 11 yrs now. I have quiet a few animals as I do rescue them as I can. Times are hard on all of us I know I am in the same boat. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Hugs from Shannon and Jozie

Oh, Shannon! I am so sorry. I do know how much the surgeries cost, as my Dolly Dee had to have surgery on her knee about 18 months ago. I really wish that I was in the position to help you, but I am on a limited budget. I don't know if you have looked into getting a CareCredit card. I know that Ann Road Animal Hospital accepts it, and when Dolly had her knee surgery the Veterinary Referral Service accepted CareCredit as well for their services. The providers have an agreement with CareCredit as how long your charge will have for repayment in full without paying a cent of interest.
Again, I am vey sorry about the loss of your cat and the impending knee surgery for Jozie.

Thank you for the information on Care Credit. I do have an acct. However the card is at its max already. I do have several rescues in my home that for some reason have needed lots of medical care lately. I have putting the expenses on the card as I did not work for part of the summer. I am a School Bus Driver for Clark County School District. So Im trying to get caught up now. But I do appreciate the advice.

I can tell you that when Dolly had her knee surgery that the doctor did a very good job, and Ann Road followed up with her. She has had some bad days in the winter and I have to work with her range of motion all over again. A few days ago, Dolly was zooming around the house chasing her brother, Desi Lou, faster than I have ever seen her run and it went on for several minutes. Not really sure what Desi did to her, but she was mad at him! I was watching and thought how fast she can run and it made me very grateful that she had the knee surgery (she was only 22 months old when she had the surgery).I hope that Jozie's surgery turns out just as well. You are in good hands at ARAH.
