Thread: Dog question

Hello,

I have a boxer that is almost 2. He developed a sudden lump on his back, about 2 inches from his midline. It happened essentially overnight, and I was wondering if it's something common; he plays with our other dog quite a lot and I'm not sure if it could be something to do with that. It doesn't seem to both him; it's soft and moves around and he doesn't seem bothered when I touch it. I was wondering if perhaps ice/heat would be beneficial.

Ice and heat may help because it sounds like it could be from trauma. Because it is a lump though we always recommend having it looked at and having the fluids or cell checked to see what it could be. Hope this helps.
